Hello!

I am in Italy right now, and in about ten days will be heading across the adriatic (to croatia, bosnia-herzegovina, serbia, and montenegro).

Right now the plan is like this: we're going to the general Split area for a couple days, then to islands (I haven't got reservations -- have been looking at Korcula, Mljet, and Hvar), then to Dubrovnik.

Then we are going to spend a night in Mostar and two nights in Sarajevo.

Then we are going to Belgrade to spend two nights there (and maybe a night in Novi Sad).

Then we are heading southwest to Montenegro where I am thinking about a night in Kotor.

Do any of you have suggestions -- are there places inside these cities where you think we must visit? With regards to the Dalmatian islands, are there reasons to prefer one to the other? Is Kotor a nice place to spend the night? Etc. My plans are still pretty flexible, so if you have strong suggestions I could change things a bit.

I will take pictures on the trip and post them when I can.

unfortunately, i'm not so experienced in travelling on this area, but i heard a lot about Hvar from natives (i mean croatians) and visitors that it's the center of the night life (lots of clubs, music, fun)in croatia. so, if you're looking for that stuff, probably, it's a good idea to prefer Hvar to other places.

have a nice time there*)

just back from Dubrovnik. Amazing city...one of the best places i've ever been to. Seriously spend a few days there, very much worth it.
